Most shower failures start under the tile
When we open a leaking shower, the tile is usually fine. What failed is behind it: no membrane at the curb, a pan sloped toward the wall, a niche cut into the waterproofing and sealed with caulk. Water found the one gap and went into the wall for two years before anyone noticed.
We build showers as a waterproof assembly first and a finish second. Membrane over walls, pan, curb and bench, corners banded, penetrations sealed, and a flood test before a single tile goes on.
What we build
- Standard curb, low curb or fully curbless, depending on what the floor framing allows
- Center or linear drains, sloped pans built on site rather than dropped-in pans where the space is odd
- Recessed niches and benches framed into the wall, waterproofed as part of the assembly
- Large-format tile, subway, mosaic floors, and solid-surface panels where you want less grout
- Framed, semi-frameless and frameless glass, templated after tile
- Blocking in the walls for grab bars, installed now or later
How long
Six to ten working days on site, with a pause while waterproofing cures and glass is fabricated. Glass runs seven to ten days after templating.

Why did my old shower leak?
Almost always a waterproofing gap - unsealed curb, a niche cut through the membrane, or a pan sloped the wrong way. Tile and grout are not waterproof on their own and were never meant to be.
Tile or a solid-surface panel system?
Tile gives the widest design range with grout to maintain. Large-format porcelain or solid-surface panels cut cleaning to almost nothing. We build both and will give you the honest maintenance difference.
